‘Sustainable’ Stools
About This Project
These pieces were designed as modified ‘Zaishu’ stools, originally designed by Matthew Butler, and were shown as part of the SCU Graduate Exhibition in November 2022. I wanted to produce a utilitarian piece of sculptural work that reflected the questionable sustainability of flat pack design using sustainable plantation timber.
